At Women In Action, we believe in empowering women and girls to stand up for their rights and understand how to claim what is rightfully theirs. We believe if you believe in truly making an impact and standing up for gender equality, then even the tiniest change makes the biggest difference.

Our Story

Women In Action (AKA WIA) is a youth organization helping women stand up for themselves! Founded in 2021 in the United Arab Emirates, the organization started its base as a mere social media page, however, we have grown our endeavors to establishing 2 cycles of a volunteering program with 20+ volunteers, a team of 6 motivated individuals, and two of our newest projects: Stand By Africa campaign and WIA International Chapters (see more on our projects page). We truly believe that it's our atomic steps that collate into a bigger community and through our organization, we are hoping to do the same.
