Stand By Africa
We, at Women In Action, are currently conducting a book collection campaign to donate to the underprivileged children of Africa, "Stand By Africa" focusing on a few countries. Stand By Africa is an initiative to donate 100,000+ educational books to the young and underprivileged children of Africa, with a particular emphasis on the countries of Ethiopia, Chad, Central African Republic, Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin, South Sudan, Guinea, and Niger. Women In Action Volunteering Program
We officially opened our "Women In Action Volunteers Program" for the year 2022-2023. As a part of Cycle 1 of the program, we welcomed 62 volunteers who truly believed in making an impact and standing up for gender equality and we are opening Cycle 2 shortly. At Women In Action, we believe in empowering women and girls to stand up for their rights and understand how to claim what is rightfully theirs. We believe that if there is a cause and if there are people who care for the cause, even a small step makes a big difference.
